Yes, two snow days in a row! Because of actual snow. Approx 10 inches at our house. We woke up in Narnia, it was so beautiful! The kids played outside, built snowmen, had a snowball fight, and we met up with our neighbors for hot chocolate. Our electricity was out for the first day and we resolved to buy a generator. We were so cold! Day 2 we had electricity again, whew. And in just 8 days the kids will be out of school again for winter break.

And those 2 bigger boys weren’t cold because, as we know, they “are from Chicago.”
Great pictures. Travis has changed since Christmas, I think. Beautiful times in the winter of ’17.
Wow- they will remember ‘that one time it snowed’ forever!! Love those guys.
Great pictures !!! It a wonder the trees were not broken down. But of course trees in that part of the world are built to withstand a ton of snow. What is the source of your heat? Gas or electric? If it’s gas a generator will allow you to run the furnace and blow the heat where it needs to go. If it’s electric, you will only be able to heat a small part of the house with a generator – unless of course you get a GENERATOR ($$$). Wish we could be there to be with the boys and to see the picture-book beauty of your backyard, Luvya! Papa Lloyd and Mimi
