September update

These guys stay busy all the time. Here they are with their new “pet” birds. Thank you Memo!

The neighborhood biker gang. (Trav doesn’t ride anything these days. He told me his bike was for when he was three. Now that he’s three and a half, he just runs.)

… And climbs!

Elliot’s riddle:
How can you see stuff when everything is black? A dream.

Trav’s riddle:
What’s in your mouth that’s only under your tongue? A thermometer.

Elliot on his new gym class: “It’s stupendous!”

Elliot retrieving a treat from a vending machine: “Mom, I won!”

Trav’s thoughts on what he’ll have to teach the baby:
1. How not to put things in his mouth.
2. How to lift heavy things.
3. How to be gentle and not hit.

First day and sleep study

Elliot’s comment after the first day of school was that it was the best school in the whole world! He even came home with a sticker he earned for following directions!

Last night Elliot and Fletch spent the night at a sleep clinic as we are addressing various issues with Elliot, including how he doesn’t sleep through the night. The photos are sad, but Fletch assures me that Elliot was happier than he appears here and enjoyed looking at himself in the photos. Elliot doesn’t have school today so I get to spend some time washing all that glue out of his hair!

First day of school!

Today is Elliot and Trav’s first day of school. Elliot is in afternoon kindergarten and Trav is in morning preschool. Elliot already has another loose tooth! Trav wants to be a flying spiky dragon when he grows up, and Elliot wants to be a construction worker. With such lofty goals these guys are starting out with a super education!

Here they are sharing slushees.

Last days of summer, eating ice cream cones.

The fun never ends!
