Happy Father’s Day!

Yesterday was Elliot’s last day at Aldersgate Preschool with his fantastic teachers Mrs Wimer and Mrs Hill. They made such a change in Elliot’s life.

One of the final crafts Elliot made in his class was a Father’s day gift for his dad. It was a stepping stone.

Sorry the pic is upside-down! Anyway, Elliot couldn’t wait for Father’s day to give it to his dad. In fact, he couldn’t wait until his dad even came home to unwrap it.

He really Really wanted to unwrap it! So I let him. And then he really Really wanted to use it for its intended purpose.

So he did!

Here is a great photo of our little bike gang hanging out in the cul de sac.

Jonni, thank you for the package you sent with all the goodies. Here’s Trav showing you his rocket yesterday on the phone.

And here’s today’s masterpiece through the mediums of window marker on window… so far. Trav says it’s a drawing of poop.

Little Fishermen

Yesterday I was wishing we had a Sonic. We all had that afternoon need-a-sugary-drink-fix. But the closest thing we had was a Starbucks.

After that, we went fishing! Trav uses his fishing pole like a sword, but Elliot really gets into the act of fishing, casting, and reeling. Fletch bought them some little Superman fishing poles and attached red rubber fish to the ends so we wouldn’t have to mess with hooks. The kids love it! Here they are at Lake Boren Park.
