Here is an ode to this move from Chicago to Seattle. In this group of pictures you will see stacks of boxes, empty rooms, exhaustion, and hope that it will all be over soon. We are living as if we were camping this week: wearing the same clothes every day, using a single pot to cook with, and also it’s just really cold outside. But we do have lovely bathrooms, internet hookups, and a big TV to help ease the transition. The kids have been super champs. Elliot loves to “hide” in plain sight and be wrapped up like a burrito. He and Travis have started wrestling with each other and the peals of laughter from that alone warms everyone to the core.

The pictures are wonderful. Hope you will soon be at home in Newcastle.
Great photos! And I LOVE your new home. I can't wait to see it in person. Let me know when the guest room is up and running 😉
