Last day of school 2016
Travis’s kinder graduation, Baseball trophy
I love to play with Gavin and Levi M. And sometimes Daniel.
He was so proud of this glass sculpture that he made. Unfortunately, Stuart found it and tossed it on the floor. Shattered into smithereens!
Trav’s teacher gave them each a memory rock, and had them think of their favorite kinder memory. We all loved Mrs Kardong!
Sweet little team. Some of these guys go to school with Trav. TJ, JT, JB, Tyler, Brandon, Dean, Travis, and Bentley.
Coach Jimmy Wilson goes to our church. He really coached Trav and got him to hit that ball!
Make Way For Dodgers!
Where’s Stuart?
This morning, I returned from working out at 7:30. My neighbor pulled up alongside in her car and said “I’ve been driving around the neighborhood. Have you found Stuart yet?” #happymothersday
Yes he was in the house, but he had opened the garage door. We have nice neighbors!
Stuart is our escape artist. I was at dinner with some friends and Fletch texted me “have you seen Stuart?” Haha! No really. I lose him myself almost every day.
It’s a good day for naked potty training
Just chugging along…
I bought the boys some board games. I asked them what they would do to get them. They offered a week of screen free time and only drinking milk and water. Sold! Here they are studying a millipede.
Here’s the house they built for the millipede. Don’t worry, Stuart crushed poor Milli before he could enjoy his new digs.
Breakfast on the stairs.
This one loves a playground!
Tasting the foliage.
Peekaboo!
Wheeeeeeere’s Stuart?
Painted dining room!!
New floors and job security
Here’s the new wood floor where there used to be carpet.
New floor.
I have job security as long as Stuart does this.
The sign doesn’t say “no trains.”
Newcastle beach park during the boys’ spring break.
“Before” floor photos. Goodbye duct tape and random tripping hazard!
Goodbye white carpet! Goodbye lousy vent covers that sat atop the carpet so Stuart could take them off easily and throw things down the “slide!”
Maui 2016
Hello! We are just back from our Valve Maui trip. It was as much fun as you can have with a 2 yr old in paradise. Which is a lot! And includes going up and down in elevators! And looking at all the water drains. We appreciated the heck out of the Grand Wailea.
Enjoyed some shave ice. Trav got Tigers Blood, Godzilla, and Toxic Waste! Yummy!
Stuart loved a sucker.
View from our room. We could really see the valet and air conditioner units well! Stuart didn’t care. Haha
The latest in tourist fashion.
Lavender farm. We had a beautiful view and ate lavender scones, lavender honey, and lavender fudge. Trav said “I really enjoyed all this lavender food.”
Surfing goat farm.
Having lunch in Makawao, upcountry Maui known for its Hawaiian Cowboys, or paniolo.
Warren and Annabelle’s magic show.
Baby beach
The Iao Valley state park is where they filmed Jurassic Park.
It’s called stand up paddle boarding, but it’s a lot harder than it looks!
Elliot’s 8th birthday!
I can’t believe our boy is 8! Here, he’s wearing his “party shirt.”
The party was a Lego class w instructor! Look at how well they all pay attention!
This is not enough snack. Whoops!
This cake. I was disappointed in the icing. I followed the directions and it came out with specks of butter. But it was a hit w the kids because of the Ender Dragon on top!
They built motorized minecraft creepers.
It was not without drama.
Snacks and cake on the patio.
They played minecraft after the party.
Marsh-pillows
Here’s my offering for the Cub Scout cake auction. It’s a campfire! Pinterest WIN!
Stuart likes to take long walks and check out the drains. Pushing his stroller makes the adventure more fun!
Stuart calls marshmallows “marsh-pillows.”
St Patrick’s Day festivities!
Fletch got a new Vive, a virtual reality system that Valve produces. Now we have a “VR room.”
A tree fell across the road that leads to our house!
Here’s the apple tart I made for Pi Day. Nobody wanted any so I ate the whole thing myself! (Homemade crust leftover from Fletch’s birthday pie. Not throwing that away!)
