Pirate’s Booty

Ahoy! Sweet Elliot hasn’t worn a diaper in a whole week. He has leveled up! Today’s prize was a pirate’s map, eye patch, sword, and telescope. He already had the pirate shirt and a beard made out of smeared chocolate cookies!

In other news, here the kids are today with the goats.

We have had a big weekend. The boys went swimming.

We had the grill master extraordinaire stop by with some meaty treats.


He was smokin’!

We dined al fresco and poolside.

We made fireworks.


And s’mores.

And camped under the stars!

Here are some pictures of what we’ve been up to the past 20 or so days. Events include but are not limited to the following: Staying a week at a beach house, building sandcastles, hunting for crabs, visiting the naval aviation museum in Pensacola, eating Popsicles, running through sprinklers, Playing with cousins, visiting Legoland and chuck e cheese, dressing up like Davy Crocket, and eating and eating and eating. Most importantly we welcomed a new cousin to the fold (but neglected to take a picture w my phone). Welcome beautiful Julie! We will post some great cousin pictures soon!

Spring has sprung!

Seconds after this was taken, the peacock attacked Travis! I’m sure the peacock weighed more and could’ve taken the boy. But Trav stood his ground and growled at the peacock. There’s only one alpha peacock in this zoo.

Seconds after this photo where Elliot insisted on holding his beloved balloon outside by the very tip of the balloon string, an unknown force caused the string to become emancipated and the balloon drifted into the wild blue yonder while the soundtrack of wailing screams echoed through the neighborhood.
