Great expectations

When we told the boys they will have a little brother, Trav said, “Then he will like spit bubbles!” Oh the things these boys are going to teach! Spit bubbles and farts. Can’t wait!

We also asked the boys to think of a name for the baby. Elliot likes the name Ethan. Trav likes the name Boy. Ha! Not very original but we’ll see what we can do.

July

Here’s what’s been going on with us this month. We didn’t catch fireworks on the Fourth, but we still used our fun glow toys. Watch out for this guy!

Best Batman Brothers!

These three can solve any puzzle in the Marvel coloring book.

Introducing our new Dreamliner! I mean Swagger Wagon! I mean family member! It seats 8 and has enough room so Trav doesn’t kick the seat in front of him anymore. The boys get a kick out of opening and closing the sliding doors by themselves. The only thing this van can’t do is fit into all those compact car parking spaces.

Boy Games

Here’s a photo of baby Dunn today. He or she was crazy active, too bad the dr didn’t get what s/he was doing most of the time which was kicking legs straight up and standing on his/her head. It was neat to see the baby at 12 weeks look so much like a baby. My previous doctors only listened to the heartbeat.

It’s a good thing the baby is active. S/he’s going to need to be to keep up with these big brothers! Earlier this week I walked in on Elliot and Trav playing a game called “Trav says, ‘that didn’t hurt.'”

Here’s the only photo I took w my phone while we were at Gulf Shores last week. I’ll post all the photos that Fletch took here after we get them off his camera. We sure had a good time!

The sweetest sound

Here are the latest pics of the kids! Here is Elliot and Trav’s class.

We are having fun with food!

This is Elliot’s t-ball team picture. What a handsome bunch! Elliot is on the far left.

This guy may hate playing t-ball but he sure knows how to pose for a picture. What a charmer!

Good news! This morning I got to see and hear the newest member of our family who is due in January! It has a strong heartbeat and we are so thankful. We waited until we saw a heartbeat to tell you all because we’ve had a couple of “bad eggs.” I am “advanced maternal age,” after all! This one looks like it’s going to stay around so we’re telling you all now. Also we won’t be able to make it to Texas for Christmas this year so you’ll have to duke it out over who wants to visit us for the holiday! Dreaming of a rainy Christmas? We have a room for you! Have a great day!
