We visited the Issaquah salmon hatchery today. We didn’t learn anything about salmon. But we ran around a lot. This statue is actual size of whichever species of salmon it is. I couldn’t hear the tour guide. <\/p>\n

Turned out that the water was too low so no salmon were able to get through today. Bummer. So we just looked at the quiet, calm water where there is normally a bunch of splashy fish headed against the current. <\/p>\n

This was a rainbow trout breeding area where we could feed the fish. Super fun! <\/p>\n

There were other kids too, since we went with a church group. Here is a group shot with the Great Boy-Girl Divide represented. <\/p>\n

We had m&m pancakes for lunch afterward. No photos of the event, but feel free to drool.<\/p>\n
